9월 24일(화요일), 한중미사랑협회(KCAC)와 시민참여센터(KACE)가 공동주최하고 후러싱제일교회(FUMC)가 후원한 중국 조선족동포 무료법률교육 및 상담이 열렸습니다. 행사는 무료 노래교실 합창 공연으로 시작되어, 김동찬 대표님과 정성국 회장님의 축사로 이어졌습니다.최영수 변호사님은 이민 사기와 범죄 예방을 주제로 강연했으며, 약 50명의 참석자가 참여해 상담도 진행했습니다. 참석자 모두 높은 만족도를 보였으며, 저희 협회는 앞으로도 중국동포분들을 위한 실질적인 법률교육을 지속적으로 이어가겠습니다.
On Tuesday, September 24, the Korean Chinese American Council (KCAC) and Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) co-hosted a free legal education and consultation for the Chinese-Korean community, supported by Flushing First United Methodist Church (FUMC). The event began with a choral performance, followed by congratulatory remarks from KACE President Dongchan Kim and Korean Chinese Association President Seongguk Jung. Attorney Youngsoo Choi delivered a lecture on immigration fraud and crime prevention, with about 50 attendees participating in both the session and on-site consultations. All participants expressed high satisfaction, and KCAC will continue offering practical legal education to support the Chinese-Korean community.
